About Centre Stage (Taupo)…. Centre Stage (Taupo) was formed in 1986 with the amalgamation of the Taupo Dramatic & Taupo Operatic Societies. They currently have a membership of approximately 80. They rehearse and perform most shows at their own premises in Matai St, Taupo.

Centre Stage (Taupo) Inc. will strive to provide exciting theatre craft experiences and produce and encourage creative opportunities for everyone through quality management, progressive attitudes and working as a team towards excellence.
